Tijdens de SX in Salt Lake van enkele weken geleden heeft Steven Cisar, W2 bij Elite Men, positief getest op tetrahydrocannabinol, de psychoactieve stof in cannabis. Met andere woorden: hij heeft een jointje gerookt.
Of hij een straf opgelegd krijg weet ik niet, niet kunnen vinden. In ieder geval heeft hij direct bekent. Zie onderstaande tekst.

On September 23rd of this year at the Dew Tour in Salt Lake City, I tested positive for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the primary psychoactive substance found in the cannabis plant.
I make absolutely no excuses for my actions, other than to say, I did an incredibly dumb and irresponsible thing.
I want to express my most sincere apologies to my sponsors, fellow competitors, family, friends, and fans who have supported me over the years.
I am so appreciative of the opportunities I’ve been extended, my God given talents, and the support I have received. I can only hope that I will not be judged by one poor decision, as that is not who I am or what I stand for.
I value hard work, clean racing, integrity, and the camaraderie I share with the racing community.
More than anything, I love racing my bike.
Throughout the course of life, we will all make mistakes.
I have certainly learned from this one, and will not compromise my values or let down my fans again.
